Basic Configuration

If your PC has a network card and your OS is Windows XP...
Assign IP 192.168.1.2 to your PC.
Connect your ADSL Modem.
Create an network connection ( WAN MiniPort PPPoE) for DataOne.
Enter your username & password and click connect.
Now you are connected to BSNL Broadband
Start browsing.

I have absolutely no knowledge about broadband.Could you please guide me whether I should buy the modem from BSNL or buy one from the market if so should I buy a dlink modem or ADSL one please guide me.

i m having problem with the link being established.....i hv to make the system reset from the exchange to get the link light glowing..i have a beetel 220bx adsl 2+ modem...wht cud b the possible reason...the link gets broken almost everyday...

HI I have problem using bsnl wifi modem
I checked the option "hide my access point" because some other wifi of UTstarcom was in range.
Now i can't open 192.68.1.1 or 192.68.1.2
please help

I am having problem in internet connection LAN connection is connected and also my ip is getting reply from ping but i cant browse or use gtalk or yahoo and cant able to visit any website message showing "page cannot be displayed" could you please solve me the issue email me in ansar3916543@gmail.com

i am having BSNL broadband connection at my home. i am having a laptop where i installed windows2000 server. i want to configure the broad band on my laptop also. please help me how to configure.
